We erase your criminal and police record

Any person who has been convicted by a final judgment is entitled to have his or her criminal record expunged once his or her criminal liability has been extinguished. Similarly, any police record that may have been generated prior to the conviction may be cancelled.

At Honoralia we have a large team of highly specialised lawyers who have successfully handled complex cases involving the cancellation of police and/or criminal records.

Expunge your criminal and police record

The criminal record is the information found in the Central Register of Convicts and Rebels of the Ministry of Justice. If you have been convicted of committing a crime, your details will appear in this register. This data allows you to know the criminal record of a person after having been convicted by a final judgement.

The criminal record does not have to last longer than the legally established time limit for the statute of limitations of the specific sentence. Once the sentence has been served in its entirety, and according to the legal time limits that are stipulated by the seriousness of the sentence, the cancellation process can be initiated.

What is a criminal record?

Police records are those contained in the databases of: State Security Forces and Corps: National Police Corps, Civil Guard and Judicial Police, Autonomous Police Corps and Police Corps dependent on Corporations (Local Police). Police records may originate as a consequence of any intervention by the State Security Forces and Corps in which you have been involved in some way, either as a result of an arrest or after having been reported. Police records are collected when they are necessary for the investigation and/or prevention of conduct that may involve the commission of crimes.
